Channel X - Modbus Master view parameters

Use the Channel X - Modbus Master
view to define the characteristics of the Modbus Master.

The Channel X - Modbus Master
view includes these parameters:

Parameter	Description
Modbus Format	Determines whether the Modbus transmission format is Modbus RTU or Modbus ASCII . The default is Modbus RTU.
Response Timer	Defines the minimum amount of time a Modbus client waits for a response from the server before a new transmission can begin. Valid value is from 0 through 3600000 ms. The default is 200 ms.
Broadcast Pause	Specifies the delay after the data broadcast. Valid value is from 0 through 3600000 ms. The default is 200 ms.
Inter-Frame Timeout	Specifies maximum delay time to receive data for the Remote Terminal Unit (RTU). Tip: This parameter is available only when Modbus Format is set to Modbus RTU .
Retry Count	Specifies the maximum number of times to retry the request. Valid value is from 0 through 127. The default is 0.
Diagnostics	When online, opens the diagnostics dialog box to view diagnostic counters for performance and error management with the Modbus Master.
