Calibration Wizard view (Output Modules)
Use this wizard to calibrate the analog modules. To perform the calibration process, the
module must be inhibited or online with the controller in Program Mode.
When you calibrate output modules, use a Digital Multimeter (DMM) to measure the signal
the module is sending out.
These options are available in the Calibration Wizard:
- Calibrate Channels in Groups:TIP: Use this option to apply a reference signal to all of the selected channels at the same time.
- Enter calibration mode.
- Start Low Reference calibration for all selected channels.
- Measure the output signals for all of the selected channels and enter the measured results in the Recorded Reference column.
- Start High Reference calibration for all selected channels.
- Measure the output signals for all of the selected channels and enter the measured results in the Recorded Reference column.
- Complete the calibration.
- Calibrate Channels One at a Time:TIP: Use this option to apply a reference signal to the selected channels one-at-a-time, and then move on to the next channel.
- Enter calibration mode.
- For the first selected channel, start Low Reference calibration.
- Measure the output signal for first selected channel and enter the measured result in the Recorded Reference column.
- For the first selected channel, start High Reference calibration.
- Measure the output signal for first selected channel and enter the measured result in the Recorded Reference column.
- Complete the calibration for the first selected channel.
- Repeat the above steps for the remaining selected channels.
