Port Configuration view
Use
Port Configuration
to view and configure the port settings. The settings define
how data is sent and received between the port and the attached device. The Port
Configuration
view is only available for devices with an embedded Ethernet port, and
the configured values are only displayed when the device is online.
IMPORTANT:
Configuring the port settings involves writing data to the device, which interrupts the
connection to the controller and to any other device that is connected through it.
Connections from other controllers may be interrupted as well. Ensure a connection
interruption at this time is acceptable before proceeding.
