Fetch data logs

Use refresh button on the
<controller-name>: Manage data logs
 page to do the following actions:
  • Fetch data logs for a specified time range from the memory card.
  • Fetch data logs for a specified time range from the computer when the controller is offline.
TIP:
  • If you fetch data log files when the controller is in
    Run
     mode, performance might be affected and the operation might take longer.
  • The fetching behavior only applies to data log files. The Header file is regenerated based on the data set configuration.
Prerequisites
  • The controller is online.
To fetch data logs
  1. In
    Project Organizer
    , double-click the controller to open the controller application workspace.
  2. In the
    Controller
     tree, select
    Data Log
    .
  3. On the
    Data Log
     configuration page, select
    Manage data logs
    .
  4. On the
    <controller-name>: Manage data logs
     page, select refresh button to fetch the data log.
  5. Choose the date range for exporting data logs from the controller.
  6. (optional) When data logs for a particular period exist in the current project, select:
    • No, skip
       to skip fetching data logs for the period and use the data logs in the current project.
    • Yes, overwrite
       to fetch the data logs to overwrite the existing data logs for the period in the memory card or in the computer.
