Open the variable selector from controller configuration pages

Open the variable selector to navigate between variables of different scopes and add variables for the following
Micro800
 configurations:
  • Modbus mapping
  • MicroLogix mapping
  • DNP3 mapping
  • Data log
  • Recipe
By default, opening the variable selector from a
Micro800
 controller configuration page displays the global variables in the project.
To open the variable selector from controller configuration pages
  1. In
    Project Organizer
    , double-click the controller node.
  2. From the controller tree, select one of the following:
    • Modbus Mapping
    • MicroLogix Mapping
    • DNP3 Mapping
    • Data Log
    • Recipe
  3. (optional) If you selected
    Data Log
     or
    Recipe
     in step 2, add one or more data sets or recipes.
  4. On the configuration page, do one of the following:
    • In the empty row, double-click
      Select variable
      .
    • In the empty row, select Browse button.
