Independently released plug-in modules

Each release of

FactoryTalk Design Workbench

includes a set of plug-in modules for

Micro800

controllers, which can be added to the controller, and then configured using the

FactoryTalk Design Workbench

plug-in configuration workspace.

Some plug-in modules are released and available independently from the software release. They come with a support package that, when installed, updates the

FactoryTalk Design Workbench

software.

After you add an independently released plug-in module, the plug-in module is available in

Project Organizer

under the

Plug-in

node. Configuration of independently released plug-in modules follows the same procedure as other plug-in modules in

FactoryTalk Design Workbench
