Counter 1 configuration

When selecting the
High-speed counter instructions
 mode, two nodes of
Counter 0
 and
Counter 1
 are created on the
2080-MOT-HSC
 configuration page under the
Configuration
 node.
Counter 1
 is available when
Counter 0
 is in one of the following modes:
  • 1 - count up 0 to hp
  • 13 - count down 0 to lp
Counter 1 configurations

Description
Operation mode
Specifies the operation mode for
Counter 1
.
The graphic descriptions of the counting mode are to the right of the options. The graphic changes when the operation mode changes.
Counter 1
 supports the following operation modes:
  • 0 - count up 0 to hp
  • 12 - count down 0 to lp
  • Disable
Rate
Specifies the rate for
Counter 1
. You must configure the following four parameters.
  • User unit
    Options include
    mm
    ,
    cm
    ,
    inches
    , and
    revs
    . The default option is
    mm
    .
  • Pulses per user unit
    The input is from 1 through 4294967295. The default value is  1.
  • Per pulse
    The input is from 1 through 255. The default value is 1.
  • Cyclic period
    The input is from 1 through 16777215. The default value is 10000.
