Add a Batch server
Add a Batch server to the project to support the integration of
FactoryTalk® Batch
data and Area Models.FactoryTalk Batch Area Model contains information about the process equipment used to
create batches. It includes all the equipment configured for one area of a specific
physical plant. An Area Model corresponds to a single FactoryTalk Batch server. The
Batch Area Model file (.axml) is used by FactoryTalk Batch Equipment Editor.
To add a Batch server
- InSystem View, expandBatch, right-clickServers, and then clickAdd.
- InObject Configuration Wizard, underSelect a libraryin theSolutioncolumn, click the + symbol to expand a library category and display the Batch libraries registered in the connected ACM database.
- Select a Batch library, and then clickNext.
- InName, enter a unique name for the Batch server, and then clickFinish.The Batch server appears inSystem Viewas a child object ofServers. At the same time, the server will also appear under theBatchfolder inPreviewandClass View. When you update a server inSystem View, the Batch server inPreviewandClass Viewwill synchronize with the update.
