Import updated Zip file from IT Mode into OT Mode

Once you retrieve the latest software information and patches from PCDC by using IT Mode, import the updated Zip file and patches into OT Mode.
TIP: To deploy patches and information, the FactoryTalk Updater Client must connect to FactoryTalk Updater Server with an administrator user account.
  1. Import the data from the saved
    .zip
     file by selecting
    Update Database
    .
  2. Select the exported IT list.
  3. Enter the password and select
    OK
    .
  4. Select the products that you want to deploy, and then select
    Deploy
    .
  5. In the
    Deploy Patches
     window, browse for the patch.
  6. Determine when to install the patch.
  7. Determine when to restart the computer after installing the patch.
  8. Select
    DEPLOY
    .
  9. In the
    Enter the Credential
     dialog box, enter the administrator's username and password of the selected machines, and then select
    OK
    .
