Clicking Start Service on the FactoryTalk Linx Gateway Configuration dialog box does not start service. Service remains stopped.
Possible cause and solution:
- The service is disabled fromWindowsControl Panel.Verify the service status usingStart > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services. Start the service if it is disabled.
- You do not haveWindowsadministrative privileges.ObtainWindowsadministrative privileges to start and stop the service.
- An incompatible version ofFactoryTalk Services Platformis installed on the computer.Install a compatible version ofFactoryTalk Services Platform.
