Clicking Stop Service on the FactoryTalk Linx Gateway Configuration dialog does not stop service.

Possible cause and solution:
  • You do not have
    Windows
     administrative privileges.
    Obtain
    Windows
     administrative privileges to start and stop the service. Or
    Verify the service status using
    Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services
    . Stop the service, if possible.
