Add a shortcut

Create a shortcut to connect to a device.
To add a shortcut
  1. On the
    Device shortcut configuration
     pane, select or
    Add…
    .
  2. Edit the following:
    • Shortcut Name
      : Customize the shortcut name by double-clicking the shortcut name.
    • Type
      : Select the shortcut type. Only the Processor type is supported, and it can only be used with a Logix controller.
    • Path
      : Select a device path from the Network Browser or enter a device path.
      In Network Browser, browse the device via the Ethernet or USB via 1784-U2CN.
