Create a Windows-linked FactoryTalk user account

Create a Windows-linked FactoryTalk user account, which can be authenticated by FactoryTalk via Windows integrated authentication, as well as by Asset Framework and Data Archive via security mapping.
To create a Windows-linked FactoryTalk user account
  1. On the computer with Historian WebTrend installed, open FactoryTalk Administration Console, and then expand
    System
     >
    Users and Groups
    .
  2. Right-click
    Users
    , select
    New
    , and then select
    Windows-Linked User
    .
  3. In the dialog, select
    Add
    .
  4. In the dialog, select
    Advanced
    .
  5. In the new dialog, select
    Find now
    , select the name that you want to use, and then select
    OK
    .
  6. In the dialog, select
    OK
    .
  7. In the dialog, select
    OK
    .
