View or edit preferences for the FactoryTalk Diagnostics Messages viewer

The FactoryTalk Diagnostics Messages viewer shows the contents of the FactoryTalk Diagnostics Event Viewer within
FactoryTalk Diagnostics Counter Monitor
. You can select whether to show all messages or show only those that originate from
FactoryTalk Linx
 and
FactoryTalk Linx Gateway
 by setting preferences.
To view or edit preferences for the FactoryTalk Diagnostics Messages viewer:
  1. From the
    Menu
     bar, select
    View > Preferences
    ... The
    Preferences
    dialog box is shown.
  2. Select your preferred display option check box.
  3. Click
    OK
     to save your selection, and close the dialog box.
