Number of transactions in use

Description

This is the current number of Transaction objects in use, representing the number of currently pending communications requests. It is not unusual for this number to be zero in a lightly loaded system that is experiencing no communications problems. A large number could indicate communications problems (as pending communications requests are in the process of timing out), or it could indicate a backed-up queue, possibly due to a heavily or excessively loaded system.
