Run a pulse test

The pulse test verifies output circuit functionality without changing the state of the output load device. The pulse test turns on the output and ensures that it comes on when the command is issued. The device detects the change in the output before the output load device has enough time to change its state.
Prerequisites
  • Verify that the controller is in Run mode.
To run a pulse test
  1. On the tab for the device, select
    Points
    .
  2. In the
    Points
     view, in the
    Pulse Test
     column, select
    Test
     for each output point.
  3. Select
    OK
