Detect loss of field power to the device

Enable the detection of the loss of field power to the digital output device. This diagnostic is available only for 1756 Digital diagnostic output devices.
Prerequisites
  • Make sure that the connection is configured for Data.
To verify output state
  1. On the tab for the device, select
    Points
    .
  2. In the
    Points
     view, in the
    Enable Diagnostics for Field Power Loss
     column, select the checkbox for each point to enable field power loss detection.
  3. Select
    OK
     to save the changes.
