Import a FactoryTalk Optix Application

To deploy an exported
FactoryTalk Optix Application
, move the file to the target device and run the file.
  1. To import a
    FactoryTalk Optix Application
  2. Move the exported files to the target device.
    For example, attach the USB drive with the exported application to the target device.
  3. Run
    FactoryTalk Optix Application
     on the target system:
    • On
      Windows®
       target devices, in the
      FTOptixApplication
      folder, double-click
      FTOptixRuntime.exe
      .
    • On Linux target devices, in the terminal:
      1. Enter
        cd
        FTOptixApplication
         to navigate to the
        FTOptixApplication
         directory.
      2. Enter
        sudo chmod +x FTOptixRuntime
         to make the runtime executable.
      3. Enter
        sudo chmod +x openssl
         to make the openssl library executable.
      4. Enter
        ./FTOptixRuntime
         to run the application.
    • On
      OptixPanel
      , access the web interface and then select
      Import
       under
      Load application from USB
      .
