You can download information model of Studio 5000 Smart Objects in an ACD file, and
use it to read and write values of Smart Objects in
FactoryTalk® Optix™
Runtime.Studio 5000 Smart Object Configurator offers the following features:
- Turn existing Logix tags into FactoryTalk Smart Object instances by extending existing base Logix tags with an additional set of user-defined configuration properties.
- Organize FactoryTalk Smart Object instances into information models and define synchronous data collection based on the model hierarchy.
FactoryTalk Optix
uses FactoryTalk Smart Object
information models and collected data, and then delivers the contextualized synchronous
data to Extensions.Studio 5000 Smart Object Configurator is available for download from The Product
Compatibility and Download Center (PCDC).
