I clicked Security, but permissions I set up do not take effect

When you right-click an item in the

Explorer

and then select

Security

, the permissions you set up take effect on the item you right-clicked. For example, if you right-click the

Users

or

Computers

folder, select

Security

, and then specify permissions, you are limiting who can access the Users or Computers folder and its contents.

Right-clicking the

Users

folder or the

Computers

folder and then specifying security permissions does not limit a particular user or computer's access to resources in the

FactoryTalk

system. To secure resources, right-click the resource, select

Security

, and then specify security permissions for user and computer accounts.
