I cannot create, edit, or delete a logical name

Possible cause and solution:
  • You do not have the Configure Security permissions required to create a logical name.
    Contact your
    FactoryTalk
     Administrator and request the additional permissions.
  • Either your computer or the
    FactoryTalk
     Network Directory Server computer is disconnected from the network.
    Check the network connection between your computer and the
    FactoryTalk
     Network Directory Server.
