Things to mind after changing the workstation hostname

To ensure system functionality after renaming the computer hosting the Connector, do the following:
  • Update
    Client Address
     on
    OPC UA Servers
     if the reverse connect is enabled.
  • Regenerate the outgoing certificate.
    The OPC UA Server must trust the new certificate if necessary.
  • Verify the hostname on
    Connector Settings
     if you use Localhost to run the Connector.
  • Change the computer name in the FactoryTalk network directory. See
    FactoryTalk Services Platform Help
     for more details.
