A distributed architecture hosts the

UA Servers on separate computers. The following simple distributed architecture has one FactoryTalk Linx

, requests a tag provided by FactoryTalk Services Platform
, the FactoryTalk Linx
OPC
UA Connector subscribes to the OPC
UA Server node. When the node value is received, the FactoryTalk Linx
OPC
UA Connector provides the value to FactoryTalk Services Platform
as a tag, which the FactoryTalk Services Platform
service returns to the FactoryTalk
Client.
