How do I open the Device Properties dialog box?

Device Properties
dialog box displays specific information about the selected device, such as name, vendor, product type and code, revision and serial number, and any fault information present when browsing the device.Properties are not available in
FactoryTalk Linx
Network Browser for all devices. If the Device Properties selection does not appear when you right-click a device, properties are not available for the selected device.Property | Description |

Device Name | Displays the device name, which is pulled from the module. |
Vendor | Display the Vendor IDs of the device, which are managed by ODVA. |
Product Type | This attribute is used to identify the device profile that a particular product is using. |
Product Code | The Product Code is used to identify a particular product within a device type. |
Revision | The Revision attribute, which consists of Major and Minor Revisions, identifies the Revision of the item the Identity Object is representing. |
Serial Number | This attribute is a number used in conjunction with the Vendor ID to form a unique identifier for each device on any CIP network. Each vendor is responsible for guaranteeing the uniqueness of the serial number across all its devices. |
Catalog Number | Displays the textual catalog or model number. This should be the string that is used to order the product. Newly added in 2020, the attribute will be blank if a device does not support it. |
Manufacture Date | This is the date the product was manufactured. Newly added in 2020, the attribute will be blank if a device does not support it. |
Hardware Revision | The Hardware Revision attribute provides the revision of the hardware in the item. Using this attribute is preferred to use additional instances of the Identity Object as a means to report hardware revision. This attribute only presents for Rockwell Automation devices. Newly added in 2020, the attribute will be blank if a device does not support it. |
Warranty | The Warranty attribute is the serial number printed on the label of a module. This attribute presents for devices supported by CIP. Newly added in 2020, the attribute will be blank if a device does not support it. |
Series | The Series attribute is the device series which is the character(s) used to identify the customer-facing series level of the device; this field has a maximum of 2 characters. The Series value is intended to be used to identify the device hardware, and to determine what firmware updates can be applied to the device. This attribute only presents for Rockwell Automation devices. Newly added in 2020, the attribute will be blank if a device does not support it. |
Faults | Displays the device faults. |
Device Path | Displays the location of the device. |
EDS File Name | Displays the name of the device description file, which contains the descriptions of the device. |
