About data communication enable

Starting from
RSLinx Enterprise
 v5.90.00 (CPR 9 SR 9) (renamed
FactoryTalk Linx
 with version 6.00.00), you can inhibit or enable data communication with a device in
FactoryTalk Administration Console
 or
FactoryTalk View Studio
.
You can enable data communication of a device using the:
  • Device Properties
     dialog box
  • Inhibit Devices Status
     dialog box
  • Predefined item
    TIP:
    For
    RSLinx Enterprise
     v5.90.00 and later (renamed
    FactoryTalk Linx
     with version 6.00.00), data communication inhibit and enable support for
    Logix 5000
     controllers only.
