Unsuppress events

Unsuppress an event that was previously suppressed if that event now needs to be monitored again.
The ability to suppress or unsuppress an event is controlled by
FactoryTalk Security
.
To unsuppress events in an application or area, you need the following security permissions for the application or area:
  • Common > Read
     (required to list the event in the application or area)
  • Common > List Children
     (required to list the event in the application or area)
  • Automatic Diagnostics > Suppress
To unsuppress an event
  1. In the Automatic Diagnostic Event Summary event list, do one of the following:
    • Select the events you want to unsuppress, and then click the
      Unsuppress selected event
      Diag_toolbar_unsuppress toolbar button.
    • Select the events you want to suppress, right-click the selection, and then click
      Unsuppress
      .
  2. In the
    Comment
     box, type a comment.
  3. Click
    OK
    .
