Columns in the Automatic Diagnostic Event Summary

The data fields in the Automatic Diagnostic Event Summary event list are organized into columns and represent the diagnostic information. These columns can be configured at design time using the
Automatic Diagnostic Event Summary Properties
dialog box.
The following table shows the columns.
Column
Description
State
An icon is displayed to indicate an event's state change.
  • Diag_State_Active&Unsuppressed: Active and Unsuppressed
  • Diag_State_Active&Suppressed: Active and Suppressed
  • Diag_State_Inactive&Suppressed: Inactive and Suppressed
Assessment
The urgency of the diagnostic event.
  • FAILED
  • OUT OF SPECIFICATION
  • MAINTENANCE REQUIRED
  • CHECK FUNCTION
Event Time
The time when the event condition changed into the currently displayed state. The time can include seconds, milliseconds, or microseconds, depending on the properties that are configured.
Area
The

path to the area in which the event occurred, in the format: /Area1/SubArea1/... .

Device Name
The name of the device that issued an event.
Catalog
The catalog of the device that issued an event.
Message
The text that describes the event.
Diagnostic Code
The unique identifier of the event message.
Device Path
The shortcut path to the device on the network that collects the diagnostic event.
For example,
B_ETHIP-1\IPAddress\Backplane\2

Resource
The resource of the event, for example, Device or Controller.
Server Name
The name of the server that generated the event.
For example,
Packaging Server
.
Product Type
The type of the device that issued an event.
For example,
Programmable Logic Controller
.
Vendor
The manufacturer of the device that issued an event.
Product Name
The model of the device that issued an event.
Major Revision
The firmware major revision of the device that issued an event.
Minor Revision
The firmware minor revision of the device that issued an event.
