Automatic Diagnostic Event Summary Properties - States tab

How do I open the Automatic Diagnostic Event Summary Properties dialog box - States tab?
  1. In
    FactoryTalk View Studio
, add an Automatic Diagnostic Event Summary object to a display.
  2. Right-click on the Automatic Diagnostic Event Summary object, and then click
    Properties
    .
  3. Click the
    States
    tab.
Use the
States
tab in the
Automatic Diagnostic Event Summary Properties
dialog box to configure the runtime appearance of events displayed in the Automatic Diagnostic Event Summary.
Use this tab to choose a color for different event states, which helps the operator decide which events need the most immediate attention.
When choosing colors, choose colors that provide good contrast, such as black text on a white background. Avoid low-contrast combinations such as blue text on a black background.
The following table describes the settings on the
States
tab.
Setting
Description
Text
The color for the message text of the event.
Background
The color of the background on which the message text of the event is displayed.
Choose a color that brings attention and provides good contrast with the text for easy identification. For example, select the color red as a background color for any event state you want the operator to recognize as urgent. This setting does not affect the background color of the event list. To select the background color for the entire event list, use the
General
tab instead of the
States
tab.
