Alarm conditions
The alarm condition names vary by event categories:
- Level
- Deviation (DEV)
- Discrete
- Rate of Change (ROC)
- Configured (also known as Logix tag-based)
- Event
- OPC UA
- System
The alarm conditions that are displayed on the alarm and event objects vary based on the condition types:
- Logix analog instruction alarm conditions: HIHI, HI, LO, LOLO, ROC_POS (positive), and ROC_NEG (negative)
- Logix tag-based alarm (configured alarm) conditions: TRIP, TRIP_L (latched), HIHI, HIHI_L, HI, HI_L, LOLO, LOLO_L, LO, LO_L, ROC_POS, ROC_POS_L, ROC_NEG, ROC_NEG_L, DEV_HI, DEV_HI_L, DEV_LO, and DEV_LO_L
- Analog alarm conditions served by a Tag Alarm and Event Server: HIHI, HI, LO, and LOLO
- Deviation alarm conditions served by a Tag Alarm and Event Server: DEV_HI, and DEV_LO
- Discrete alarm conditions: TRIP or TRIP_L
- Server-based event conditions: EVENT or EVENT_L
