Alarm conditions

The alarm condition names vary by event categories:
  • Level
  • Deviation (DEV)
  • Discrete
  • Rate of Change (ROC)
  • Configured (also known as Logix tag-based)
  • Event
  • OPC UA
  • System
The alarm conditions that are displayed on the alarm and event objects vary based on the condition types:
  • Logix analog instruction alarm conditions: HIHI, HI, LO, LOLO, ROC_POS (positive), and ROC_NEG (negative)
  • Logix tag-based alarm (configured alarm) conditions: TRIP, TRIP_L (latched), HIHI, HIHI_L, HI, HI_L, LOLO, LOLO_L, LO, LO_L, ROC_POS, ROC_POS_L, ROC_NEG, ROC_NEG_L, DEV_HI, DEV_HI_L, DEV_LO, and DEV_LO_L
  • Analog alarm conditions served by a Tag Alarm and Event Server: HIHI, HI, LO, and LOLO
  • Deviation alarm conditions served by a Tag Alarm and Event Server: DEV_HI, and DEV_LO
  • Discrete alarm conditions: TRIP or TRIP_L
  • Server-based event conditions: EVENT or EVENT_L
  • OPC UA alarm conditions: AC, DISCREPANCY, DISCRETE, S_TRIP, TRIP, IDIAG, SDIAG, CERTIFICATE, LIMIT, LIMIT_HIHI, LIMIT_HI, LIMIT_LO, LIMIT_LOLO, HIHI, HI, LO, LOLO, DEV_HIHI, DEV_HI, DEV_LO, DEV_LOLO, ROC_NEG, ROC_POS, and UDT
