Remove a user-computer pair
How do I open Select User and Computer?
- In theFactoryTalk Administration ConsoleExplorer, right-click an item and selectSecurity.
- On thePermissionstab,selectAdd.

- In theFactoryTalk Administration ConsoleExplorer, expandSystem > Policies >Product Policiesand open aFeature Securityitem.
- From theFeature Security Properties Policy Settingtab, selectConfigure Security.
- InConfigure Securable Action, selectAdd.
Remove a user-computer pair when it is longer necessary to specify permissions on a resource for the pair.
Prerequisites
- Obtain the appropriate permissions to specify security settings on the selected resource.
To remove a user-computer pair
- Navigate toSelect User and Computer, select the filter criteria to show the list of the users and user groups, and computers or computer groups to delete.
- In theUserslist, select the user account or user group account that belongs to the pair being deleted.
- In theComputerslist, select a computer account or computer group account that belongs to the pair being deleted.
- SelectRemove.
- SelectOK.
