OPC DA Data Server Properties-General

How do I open the General Properties of an OPC DA Data Server?
  1. In the
    Explorer
window, right-click the application icon or the area name where you want to add a data server.
  2. On the context menu, point to
    Add New Server
    , and click
    OPC Data Server
    .
When adding an
OPC
DA data server
to an application or area, or modifying and existing OPC DA data server review the
General Properties
. Adding an OPC DA data server to an application establishes a link between a hardware device containing tags, either through the
OPC
DA server's defined topics or the
FactoryTalk Linx
data server's device shortcuts, and the
FactoryTalk Directory
.
These are the general properties of an
OPC
DA data server.
