How do I open the General Properties of an OPC DA Data Server?
- In theExplorerwindow, right-click the application icon or the area name where you want to add a data server.
- On the context menu, point toAdd New Server, and clickOPC Data Server.
When adding an

DA data server to an application or area, or modifying and existing OPC DA data server review the General Properties
. Adding an OPC DA data server to an application establishes a link between a hardware device containing tags, either through the OPC
DA server's defined topics or the FactoryTalk Linx
data server's device shortcuts, and the FactoryTalk Directory
