Fault codes, reset bits, types, and descriptions
The table below lists information about the fault codes for the Multifunctional Access Box. Faults are cleared (unlatched or reset) when one of these reset bits is acknowledged:
- GeneralFaultUnlatch - Unlatches faults related to the bus device interface
- LockSequenceFaultUnlatch - Unlatches faults related to the locking sequenceFault codesFault CodeFault Reset BitFault TypeDescription2721GeneralFaultUnlatchEmergency stop discrepancy time errorIndicates the time between emergency stop Channel A and Channel B changing state exceeded the maximum allowable time (5 seconds).2722GeneralFaultUnlatchEnabling switch discrepancy time errorIndicates the time between enabling switch Channel A and Channel B changing state exceeded the maximum allowable time (5 seconds).2723GeneralFaultUnlatchDoor position discrepancy time errorIndicates a discrepancy between both microprocessor channels of the device.2724GeneralFaultUnlatchBolt position discrepancy time errorIndicates a discrepancy between both microprocessor channels of the device.2725GeneralFaultUnlatchGuard locking discrepancy time errorIndicates a discrepancy between both microprocessor channels of the device.2731GeneralFaultUnlatchEmergency stop test pulse errorIndicates that no test pulses are being detected by the emergency stop monitoring circuit.2732GeneralFaultUnlatchEnabling switch test pulse errorIndicates that no test pulses are being detected by the enabling switch monitoring circuit.2733GeneralFaultUnlatchDoor position test pulse errorIndicates that no test pulses are being detected by the guard door position monitoring circuit.2734GeneralFaultUnlatchBolt position test pulse errorIndicates that no test pulses are being detected by the bolt position monitoring circuit.2735GeneralFaultUnlatchGuard locking test pulse errorIndicates that no test pulses are being detected by the guard lock monitoring circuit.2736GeneralFaultUnlatchMode selector switch test pulse errorIndicates failure of the mode selector switch. Check the signs of abuse and tampering. Turn the knob to change the switch position. Unlatch the fault by cycling output GeneralFaultUnlatch.2741NoneMaximum service life diagnostic messageIndicates the device has reached the maximum mechanical lifetime (1,000,000 operations).2742NoneInternal device errorIndicates an unrecoverable fault. The device may need to be replaced.2743LockSequenceFaultUnlatchSignal sequence errorIndicates the device detected an unacceptable sequence of events (for example, guard locking is active while the guard door is in the open position).2744LockSequenceFaultUnlatchLock device errorIndicates the device detected activation of the escape release handle or the manual release.2745NoneTransponder read errorIndicates an unrecoverable fault. The device may need to be replaced.2750NonePower supply or parameter assignment errorIndicates a problem with the power supply or a CIP safety parameter assignment.
