Safety view
Use the
Safety
view to:- View or change the controller's safety level.
- View the Safety application’s Lock and Unlocked status.
- Change the Lock state of the Safety application.
- View controller safety status information.
- For controllers with SIL3/PLe safety level, view the status of the Safety Partner.
- Generate and view Safety signature information.
- Select whether the signature is protected from deletion while the Safety controller is in Run mode.
- Select how the software handles the replacement of Safety I/O.
- View or assign a unique safety network number to each port on the controller that supports a CIP Safety connection.
TIP:
When the Safety application is locked, you cannot generate a new Safety signature or
delete an existing one.
