Diagnose a problem with an individual channel

Use the
Channel
X
 Diagnostics
 dialog box to diagnose a problem and view the diagnostics information for an individual channel.
To diagnose a problem with an individual channel
  1. On the tab for the device, select
    Channel
    X
    .
  2. Select one of these items based on the
    Channel
    X
     selection in
    Device definition
    :
    • Generic ASCII
    • Modbus Master
    • Modbus Slave
    • DF1 Master
    • DF1 Slave
    • DF1 Point to Point
    • DF1 Radio Modem
    • DH485
  3. Select
    Diagnostics
    .
  4. In
    Channel X Diagnostics
    , view the diagnostics information.
