Device-defined data types

The 5069-SERIAL device has two communication ports named
Channel 0
and
Channel 1
. Each channel can be used as one of these serial protocols:
  • Generic ASCII
  • Modbus Master
  • Modbus Slave
The DF1 and DH485 protocols are applicable for Channel 1 and when a device is added under local chassis:
  • DF1 Master
  • DF1 Point to Point
  • DF1 Radio Modem
  • DF1 Slave
  • DH485
