Channels view parameters (thermocouple devices)
Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
Channel | Indicates the channel to which the configuration applies. |
Sensor Type | Specifies the sensor type. Valid values are:
This parameter is not available in Run mode. |
Units | Specifies the temperature type. Valid values are:
This parameter is not available in Run mode and when Sensor Type is set to mV . |
Digital Filter | Specifies the desired filter time constant from 0 ms through 10000 ms. The default is 0 ms. This parameter is not available in Run mode. |
Notch Filter | Specifies the desired filter frequency for the device. Valid values are:
This parameter is not available in Run mode. |
High Engineering | Specifies the scaling high units from -32768 through 32767. The default is 13720. See the valid values in High/Low Engineering values (thermocouple devices). |
Low Engineering | Specifies the scaling low units from -32768 through 32767. The default is -2700. See the valid values in High/Low Engineering values (thermocouple devices). |
Enable CJ Compensation | Enables or disables the Cold Junction sensor by selecting or clearing the checkbox. This parameter is not available when:
The Cold Junction Compensation source can be externally determined or manually entered. See the valid modes in Cold Junction Compensation modes. |
CJ Compensation Offset | Determines the value added to the cold junction input during the temperature calculation. Cold junction offset compensates for the inaccuracies of the Cold Junction sensor. Valid values are from 0.00 ℃ through 70.00 ℃. The default is 0.00 ℃. This parameter is not available when:
|
Cold Junction (CJ) Compensation Mode | Specifies the code junction mode. Valid values are:
This parameter is not available in Run mode. |
Select Channels for Averaging | Specifies the channel for averaging. This parameter is not available in Run mode and when Cold Junction (CJ) Compensation Mode is set to Independent Channels . |
