HMI navigation for PAID

Use the
HMI Navigation
 tab on the
PAID Properties
 dialog box to enable or disable navigation from the HMI to process variable (PV) objects for Process Dual Sensor Analog Input (PAID) instructions.
To enable HMI navigation to process variable objects for PAID instructions
  1. On the instruction in the routine, perform one of these actions:
    • On the Ladder or FBD instruction, select .
    • In the Structured Text editor, right-click the tag name and select
      Configure <tag name>
      .
  2. Under the
    HMI
    tab, select
    Navigation
    .
  3. To allow navigation to the PV A, PV B, and Output PV objects from the HMI faceplate, select the
    Allow navigation
    checkboxes.
  4. In the
    Object tag name
     box, enter the name of the object.
  5. When online with the controller, monitor the
    Device state
     and
    Device issues
     indicators at the bottom left of the dialog box:
    • Device state
      . Displays the current device status: PV good, PV uncertain, or PV bad.
    • Device issues
      . Displays fault conditions: None, Fail, or Configuration error.
  6. Select
    Apply
    .
