Numeric pop-up scratchpad keys
The following table shows the keys on an external keyboard or keypad.
Keys | Descriptions |

Decimal | The decimal button (.) on an external keyboard or keypad works only if the decimal point type is Implicit. |
Minus | Press the minus key on an external keyboard or keypad to toggle the value between positive and negative. |
Escape | To close the pop-up scratchpad without writing the value to the Value connection, press the ESC key on an external keyboard or keypad |
Backspace | Press  on an external keyboard or keypad to delete the right-most digit. Hold the button down to delete multiple digits. If there are no digits left in the scratchpad, the minus sign, if any, is removed. |
Enter | Press  on an external keyboard or keypad to write the value to the Value connection. |
Delete | Press the Delete key on an external keyboard or keypad to clear the scratchpad. |
