Create a list indicator

The list indicator displays a list of states for a process or operation, and highlights the current state. Each state is represented by a caption in the list. Use this type of indicator to display the current state, and also the other possible states. For sequential processes, the list can alert the operator about what happens next in the process.
You specify the state values of the list indicator. Then, at runtime, the object highlights the state in the list whose value matches the Indicator control value at the data source.
To create a list indicator:
  1. In
    FactoryTalk View Studio
    , in the
    Graphics
    editor,select
    Objects
    >
    Indicator
    >
    List
, or click the list indicator icon in the toolbox.
  2. Drag the mouse to position and draw a rectangle the general size and location the indicator is to be.
  3. In the
    List Indicator Properties
dialog box, specify how the indicator looks and its tags.
    TIP:
If the value of the Indicator connection does not match any of the configured state values for the list indicator, none of the states are highlighted.
