Select phases
Select phases on the dialog box.
Synchronize with Logix5000: <data server name>
To select phases:
- The left pane of theSynchronize with Logix5000: <data server name>dialog box displays the phases in the project assigned to the selected data server. Only phases that exist in theLogix Designerproject, but not in the area model display underLogix Designer-only Equipment Phases.TIP:If other phases assigned to the selected data server exist in the area model but not in the project file, or are different from those in the project file, they also display in the left pane beneath the area model name, within their units.
- Select a phase to create in the area model.
- Select theResolutionbox for the selected phase and selectCreate in Area Model.TIP:If the onlyResolutionavailable isCannot Synchronize, selectDetailsto see a message that explains why the phase cannot be synchronized. (SeeView synchronization issuesfor more information.)
- (optional) To view the selected phase configuration inFactoryTalk Batchand inLogix Designer, selectDetailsto open theEquipment Phase Synchronization Detailsdialog box.SelectClosewhen done viewing the phase details.
- Repeat steps 2 - 4 for each phase in the area model.
- On theSynchronize with Logix5000:<data server name>dialog box, selectSynchronize. TheSelect Phase and Unitdialog box opens.
- Name the new phase instance. You can use an existing phase class or provide a name for a new phase class and then select a unit to assign the new phase instance.
Next, associate the new phase with an equipment phase and select a unit to contain it in the area model. Select an existing phase class in the area model or create a new one.
- To associate the phase with a phase that exists in the area model, continue on to Select a phase and unit to synchronize.
- To create a new phase in the area model to associate with the phase, skip toCreate a new phase and select a unit.
