Cross Invocation descriptors and defaults

Cross Invocation is the means by which
FactoryTalk® Batch View
HMI Controls passes data to, and activates, an automation server such as an HMI or Visual Basic program. The data is specific to an equipment resource type within an area model.
Each time a selection changes in
FactoryTalk Batch View
and HMI Controls, the system retrieves the Cross Invocation strings associated with the equipment resource from the
FactoryTalk Batch
Server and evaluates them.
You can define up to five Cross Invocation strings per resource type.
