Encoder Module

This chapter describes the features of the high-speed counter (HSC) and Synchronous Serial Interface (SSI) encoder module and how to construct a PointMax I/O system.

The module supports removal and insertion under power (RIUP). You must remove the RTB first and then the module.

You can configure the module for HSC mode to use with high-speed counters and incremental encoders, or SSI mode to use with SSI encoders.
