Program and Inhibit Mode Handling
You can configure individual output channels to specific states when the module is in
Program Mode or the module is Inhibited.
Output State in Program or Inhibited Mode
When the controller switches from Run Mode to Program Mode or Inhibited, the output
can behave in the following ways, depending on how you configure the Output State in
Program Mode parameter:
- Hold Last State – It causes the output to remain at the last value that is sent from the controller before being placed in Program Mode or Inhibit Mode.
- User Defined Value – It forces the output to transition to a specific, user-defined value.
When the module is inhibited, the output behavior follows the Output State in Program
Mode configuration.
