Configure retentivity storage backup and restore buttons

Create buttons assigned to backup and restore methods for retentivity storage.
If you plan to back up or restore retentivity storage with a custom NetLogic, add a custom runtime NetLogic. See NetLogic with custom backup and restore methods and Create a NetLogic.

    Project view
    , create a button.

    For example, create a button in

  3. In
    Events
    , assign one of the following methods to
    MouseClickEvent
    :
    • For backup using a built-in method:
      /Retentivity/
      RetentivityStorage
      /Backup
    • For restore using a built-in method:
      /Retentivity/
      RetentivityStorage
      /Restore
    • For backup using a custom NetLogic method:
      /NetLogic/
      RuntimeNetLogic
      /
      CustomBackupMethod
    • For restore using a custom NetLogic method:
      /NetLogic/
      RuntimeNetLogic
      /
      CustomRestoreMethod
    Where:
    RetentivityStorage
    Is the retentivity storage object to back up from or restore to.
    RuntimeNetLogic
    Is the runtime NetLogic with either the
    DoBackup
    or
    DoRestore
    methods.
    CustomBackupMethod
    The name of the custom backup method. For example,
    DoBackup
    .
    CustomRestoreMethod
    The name of the custom restore method. For example,
    DoRestore
    .
  4. Repeat 1 to 2 to add other buttons.
You can use the configured buttons to back up and restore data at runtime.
