Students Explore STEM Careers on Manufacturing Day 2017

MFG Day is designed to introduce students to careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) and help solve the critical demand for skilled manufacturing labor.

Manufacturers across the United States invite high school students inside their facilities to integrate school with real-world experiences to help address the shortage of skilled labor in manufacturing.

MFG Day represents a way to get students exposed to what a job in today’s manufacturing setting is really like.

Watch this short video following students from the Barack Obama School of Career and Technical Education, the Lynde & Harry Bradley Technology and Trade School, and Riverside University High School as they attend workshops and tour a Rockwell Automation manufacturing facility in Mequon, Wisconsin.
