An Enhanced Training Experience

At Rockwell Automation, we are always striving to improve the quality of the services we can offer and based on the success of our previous TechEd Tuesdays, we will be running a third cycle from 10 May 2022.

Scheduled over a five-week period, Rockwell Automation TechEd Tuesdays Cycle 3 will give you the opportunity to learn in any place, in your own time.

Manufacturing and IT professionals can deepen their skills, diversify their knowledge and gain an understanding of the latest technologies in a flexible learning environment.

Our approach allows you to choose the modules that suit your specific needs, with the flexibility to take part in self-paced practical lab sessions, at a time that fits into your schedule. The sessions remain free, but registrations will still be required. You can sign up for each individual module separately, letting you take part in as many or as few as you like. Registrations for the practical sessions will also open at the same time as general registration, so you can pick your preferred lab when you book a theory session, or even skip a module entirely if it isn’t relevant to your training goals.

The modules for the third cycle of TechEd Tuesdays include:

Smart Devices

Smart devices are integral components of smart manufacturing, acting as a first step when capturing operational data. They enable smarter, more informed decision-making and act as a foundation for smart systems and machines. These devices allow you to begin your digital transformation journey, as everything starts with smart devices, which is why it’s so important to have a thorough understanding.

Smart Machines

Smart machines and intelligent equipment use digital technologies to move beyond conventional control, operation and maintenance paradigms. They both deliver and translate data into actionable insights to support better decision-making, while also providing robust security and greater connectivity to your plant and supply chain networks. Learning how to optimise your smart machine performance is a valuable skill to have.

Smart Systems

Smart systems deliver better business outcomes such as improved efficiency, higher throughputs and greater levels of customisation. These industrial control systems are designed for scalability and simplicity to help you achieve the outcomes you want in a cost-effective, sustainable way. Detailed knowledge of these smart systems can therefore help deliver a fast ROI over a sustained period.

Process Control

Taking real-time data directly from a process control is a key benefit of smart operations. However, if the data is not applied properly, these benefits can be quickly lost. Understanding how to generate and implement actionable information means your Distributed Control System can provide contextual, actionable insights that improve decision-making, ultimately leading to greater efficiencies.

IIoT Ecosystem
