Overview

This courses introduces the fundamentals of Direct Current (DC) circuits.  The course will cover  theories (Electron Theory, Ohm's and Kirchoff's law, etc), troubleshooting steps, repair steps, and designing basic DC circuits.

   Be familiar with Electron Theory as it relates to Direct Current (DC) electrical circuits.

   State Ohm's and Kirchhoff's laws as they relate to DC circuits.

   Describe the major steps for troubleshooting DC circuits.

   Evaluate DC circuit performance.

   Determine circuit outputs from specified inputs in Direct Current (DC) circuits.

   Describe the major steps for performing repairs of DC circuits.

   Construct basic DC circuits.
