Webinar: How to increase electrical workplace safety assessing IEC/TR61641

How to increase electrical workplace safety

60 Minutes

Electrical workplace safety has always been a critical issue for switchgear manufacturers and end users. However, it is only more recently that protection from internal arc flash faults has been receiving the attention it deserves. IEC/TR 61641 is an addition to IEC 61439 that includes internal arc testing for enclosed LV Motor Control Centre assemblies, where doors and all covers are closed and secured. It assesses safety for personnel and protection for the assembly itself.

In this webinar you will learn:

  • Safety and risks associated with fault related arc events
  • Standards and testing
  • Mitigation measures
  • Costs associated with the additional specification
