Overview
This course (ARE-100) is intended to provide the user with hands-on training in how to build discrete-event simulations in the Arena simulation software. The course also includes discussion of management of simulation projects and what work is required prior to starting a project. User may complete the lab models by either downloading the Arena software and installing it on their local computer, or they may use the Twin Studio environment to run Arena through the cloud.
After completing the course, you should be able to do the following:
* Build models in the Arena software.
* Recognize which systems are appropriate for simulation in Arena.
* Understand what type of input data is needed to build a simulation model and what output data may be generated by the model.
