Enable a faster, simpler MicroLogix™ to Micro800™ controller modernization with the expanded capabilities and functionalities in Micro870 L70E controllers.

• Familiar user experience and workflows, similar to MicroLogix 1400 controller
• Compatible with Connected Components Workbench software version 23 or FactoryTalk® Design Workbench™ software version 1 as the minimum requirement

Overview

• Offers 24-point controller
• Offers 280 KB memory that supports up to 128 KB user data and up to 20,000 program steps
• Includes 100 kHz high-speed counter (HSC) inputs on 24V DC models
• Provides embedded communications via USB programming port, non-isolated serial port (for RS-232 and RS-485) and Ethernet port
• Supports up to three Micro800 plug-in modules and eight expansion I/O modules, up to 304 I/O points
• Provides embedded motion capabilities by supporting as many as two axes with Pulse Train Outputs (PTO)
• Communicates via EtherNet/IP™
• Operates in -20…+65 °C (-4…+149 °F) temperatures
• Supports microSD™ card for program transfer, datalog, and recipe management through plug-in module

• Offer faster Ethernet communication from controller to HMI and SCADA applications
• Deliver better connectivity with Class 1 implicit messaging capability*, additional DNP3 and expanded DF1 communications support
• Provide enhanced protocol authentication in DNP3 with Secure Authentication version 5 (SAv5)
